Mother Of Children Found Dead In Dublin Arrested

Gardaí investigating the deaths of three children in West Dublin have arrested a woman on suspicion of murder.

The bodies of Conor(9), Darragh(7) and Carla(3) McGinley were discovered at a house at Parson's Court in Newcastle village, northwest of Rathcoole, on Friday 24 January 2020.

The woman, aged in her 40s, is the children's mother. She was found outside the Newcastle house in a disorientated state. She has been receiving medical treatment at Tallaght University Hospital since.

Garda took the woman into custody late on Tuesday 28 January. She is currently in custody at Clondalkin Garda Station under section four of the Criminal Justice Act and can be held for up to 24 hours.

Woman Dies After Being Hit By Car In Dublin
An elderly woman who was hit by a car in Dublin has died in hospital. The incident occurred on the Navan Road at around 8.15am on Sunday, 04 September. The driver of the car was arrested and taken to Finglas Garda Station. He has been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

An investigation has been launched into a fire at a house in Darndale in the early hours of Friday morning. According to reports a woman and two children were rescued from a house in Moatview Avenue after a fire broke out at around 05:20 this morning.

Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Co Limerick Road Accident
An 82-year-old woman has died in a road accident in County Limerick. Gardaí said the woman was crossing a road at about 17:45 on Sunday in Croom, when she was hit by a car. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured.

63-Year-Old Dies In Co Limerick Road Crash
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road crash in Co Limerick this morning. A 63-year-old man died in a two vehicle collision on the R523 in Athea at around 07:10am on Friday. Another man, understood the be 33, was taken to University Hospital Limerick, his injuries are not thought to be serious.

Limerick Mass Murder Suspect 'In Hospital'
The man suspected of killing two women and two young children at a house in Newcastle West in Co Limerick is in hospital undergoing treatment to a hand wound. Gardaí have suspended questioning of the man, 31, when he was transferred to Cork University Hospital.
