Two Teenagers Arrested In Connection With Death Of Cameron Blair

Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with the murder of Cameron Blair.

Cameron suffered fatal stab wounds in an altercation at a house party in Cork city on 16 January, 2020.

Both males, who were arrested on Wednesday, 04 March 2020, will appear before Cork City District Court, Washington Street today, Thursday, 05 March 2020 at 10am.

A third male who was previously charged in relation to this investigation will also appear before the court sitting.

Ministers Appoint Members To The Board Of SFI
Minister for Jobs, Enterprise & Innovation, Richard Bruton TD, and Minister for Research and Innovation, Seán Sherlock, TD have formally appointed three members to the Board of Science Foundation Ireland (SFI). Ann Riordan has been appointed Chairperson of the Board of SFI and will be joined on the Board by Geraldine Ruane and Aidan Donnelly.

Road Death Toll Reaches 12 In One Week
After three more deaths on Ireland's roads, the death toll now stands at a morbid 12 for this week alone. An elderly woman died on Tuesday when her car was in collision with a truck outside Sligo. Lillian Fairweather, 81, from Rosses Point, is believed to have been exiting a filling station on the N15 Bundoran Road when a lorry struck her car.

23% Increase In Number Of People On Trolleys In February 2020 - INMO
February 2020 saw a 23% increase in the number of patients on trolleys in Irish hospitals compared to a year before. According to the latest Trolley Watch figures from the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, 10,446 admitted patients were without beds in hospitals last month.
