Three In Court Over Drugs Find
Three men are due to appear at Dublin District Court today following the seizure of cannabis resin with a street value of 250,000 euro.
Members of the Garda National Drugs Unit and Gardai from Tullamore arrested four men at a house near Tyrellspass in County Westmeath yesterday afternoon.
One of the men has seen been released and a file has been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardai in Limerick are also investigating the discovery of nearly 100kg of cannabis worth around 750,000 euro in Rathkeale.

Gardaí in Dublin have arrested three people following a significant heroin seizure in the west of the city on Tuesday night. Five kilos of the drug with a potential street value of around €1m were seized during a raid on a premises in the Westbourne Green area of Clondalkin just after 10pm.

Man Arrested In Connection With Deaths Of Elderly Brothers
A man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of the bodies of two elderly brothers at their home in Castlebar on Wednesday. A home-help for the brothers alerted gardai at around 07:00 after she arrived at their home and found their bodies.

Drugs seized during a intelligence-led operation against an organised crime gang in the North and in England at the weekend have been valued at more than £2m. Substances suspected to be cocaine, speed and herbal cannabis worth £1m were seized in Kilkeel and greater Belfast on Saturday.

Cannabis Seized During Raid In Wexford
Gardai have seized herbal cannabis following a raid on a house in Wexford. It is estimated to have a street value of €45,000. A number of plants were found during the search of a property in Lee Heights on Thursday. No arrests were made and investigations are continuing.

Cannabis worth an estimated €150,000 has been seized from a home in Larchill, Santry in Dublin, on Saturday. Gardaí arrested four men in connection with the find. They are due to appear in court on Monday.
