Cork Couple Yet To Collect Lottery Prize

A Cork couple who won the Republic of Ireland's largest ever lottery jackpot have not yet collected their winnings at the Lottery's Dublin headquarters.

Paul and Helen Cunningham, from the Fairhill area of Cork city, are believed to be the lucky winners of the 16 million euro jackpot.

Earlier, the National Lottery confirmed that an individual has contacted them claiming to have the winning ticket from Saturday's draw.

Winners have 90 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize.

The family of seven, believed to be from Faranree in Cork, reportedly scooped the 16 million euro jackpot. The winning ticket is understood to have been purchased in a Centra shop in Faranree on Friday.

Lottery Winners Collect 16 Million Euro Cheque
The winners of the Republic of Ireland's largest ever lottery jackpot have collected their cheque for 16 million euros from the Lottery's headquarters. Paul and Helen Cunningham, from the Fairhill area of Cork City arrived at the Lottery's headquarters in Abbey Street in Dublin around lunchtime on Wednesday to collect their winnings.
