Two Men Detained After Drugs Find

Two men are being held in custody following a drugs raid in south County Dublin.

It is understood the haul, which included heroin, cocaine, ecstasy, and cannabis has an estimated street value of 6 million euro.

Gardaí from the Dundrum Divisional Drugs Unit uncovered the drugs at around 6:30pm on Thursday evening after they raided a yard and sheds in Cornelscourt.

Around 14kg of cocaine, 19kg of heroin, 30,000 ecstasy tablets and 6kg of cannabis was discovered.

Two males, aged 26 and 27 were arrested in a car at the scene and are currently being questioned at Blackrock Garda Station.

Suspect Released Following Drugs Raid
Heroin, cannabis and amphetamine worth an estimated €40,000 has been seized by gardaí during a search of a house in Thurles. Two arrests were made during the search, a woman in her 20s, who has since been released, and a man in his 30s, who remains in custody.

Cash Seized During Drug Raid
A man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of €85,000 in cash at a flat in Cork city. It is understood members of the Cork City Divisional Drugs Squad uncovered the cash during a drug raid on a flat in Tuckey Street at about 21:30 on Tuesday night. A 37-year-old Hungarian national was arrested at the scene.

Drugs Seized And 15 Arrests Made In 'Operation Reuben'
Gardaí have arrested a total of 15 people in Co Cork as part of a major anti-drug operation. Dubbed "Operation Reuben", Cork City Divisional Drugs Unit moved in and arrested 15 people within 48 hours following "a lengthy drugs operation". Of those arrested, 11, of which two are female, have been charged.

Heroin Worth €100,000 Seized In Raid
A 29-year-old man has appeared in court following the seizure of heroin with an estimated street value of €100,000 from an apartment in Tallaght. The drugs were recovered during a planned raid by gardaí from the Tallaght Drugs Unit yesterday afternoon. Drug paraphernalia was also recovered.

Mother Convicted On Firearms Charges
A Dutch mother of three has been jailed for the possession of firearms. The woman, Caroline Van Dongeren, 32, was given a three-year sentence after a search at her home uncovered two magazines each containing 10 rounds of ammunition.
