Man Remanded Over Co Meath Fatal Shooting
A 24-year-old man has been remanded in custody over the fatal shooting of a Nigerian teenager in Co. Meath.
Nigerian national Sumbo Owoiya, 17, from The Court in Dunboyne, was shot at his apartment in the early hours of last Friday morning. He was taken to hospital but died shortly afterwards.
Joseph Sullivan, from Ballyfermot Road in Dublin, was arrested in connection with the shooting on Friday.
He appeared before Dublin District Court on Monday morning where he was charged with the fatal shooting.
He was remanded in custody to appear again before Cloverhill District Court on August 10.

Two Arrests Over Murder of John Kenny
It has emerged that two men have been arrested in connection with an investigation into the murder of John Kenny. The arrests were made on Thursday February 2, in Cork City with the assistance of local Gardaí and the Regional Support Unit. Both men were taken to Millstreet Garda Station where they were charged in relation to the murder.

Woman Remanded Over Dublin Murder
A 36-year-old woman has been remanded in custody at Dublin District Court, charged with the murder of her husband at a house in Tallaght at the weekend. Paul Byrne, 48, was found at a house at Páirc Glenn Trasna in Aylesbury, shortly before 7:30pm on Friday. He had suffered a fatal stab wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
