Two Killed In Separate Drownings
Gardai are investigating two separate drownings in which a man and woman died.
The body of a man was found on Lahinch beach in Co. Clare on Monday night.
It is believed that the body is that of a 19-year-old man from Clontarf in Co. Dublin, who is reported to have gone for a swim in the early hours of Monday morning following a night out with friends.
An Englishwoman in her 50s died while diving in the seaside area of the Maharees in Co. Derry on Monday afternoon.
It was reported that the woman was part of a diving party, which included her husband and son.
It is believed that she lapsed into unconsciousness after completing a dive.
Post-mortem examinations are due to be carried out on both bodies today.

Body Found In Co Donegal
Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.

Contracts Awarded For Raising Trawlers
The government has awarded a contract to raise two fishing vessels, which sank off the southeast coast of Ireland. The contract for raising the 'Pere Charles' and the 'Maggie B' has been awarded to north Co Dublin company Irish Diving Contractors.

Man Dies After Diving Expedition
A man has died following a diving expedition off the coast of Inisboffin, Co Galway. It is understood that a group of 12 people had been diving close to the East Harbour in Inishboffin and that the man, aged in his 40s, collapsed after resurfacing at about 14:30 on Monday.

A 17-year-old boy is receiving hospital treatment after he was seriously injured after diving into shallow water off a pier in Kilkee, Co Clare. The teenager, understood to be from Limerick, had been swimming yesterday in the west Clare resort town and then dived into shallow water. The alarm was raised around 12.
