Missing Climbers Found Safe On Carrantuohill
A woman and a teenager who had been reported missing on Carrantuohill in County Kerry have been found safe and well.
Members of the Kerry Mountain Rescue Team found the 82-year-old woman and a 16-year-old boy.
The pair failed to return after setting off early on Tuesday morning to climb Carrantuohill in the McGillycuddy Reeks.
They were among a party of climbers on the mountain and were reported missing at around 7.30pm yesterday evening.
A search and rescue operation was immediately mounted and the pair were eventually located at around 2.00am this morning and are said to be in good health.

Climber Rescued From Kerry Mountain
A man has been rescued from a ledge on the Connor Pass, north of Dingle in County Kerry. The climber got trapped on the ledge near Pedlars Lake at around 6.00pm on Wednesday evening and a rescue operation was immediately launched. The Dingle Cliff and Coastguard Rescue Team made contact with the man shortly before 9.30pm.

Missing Climbers Return Safely
Four climbers who were reported missing in County Mayo yesterday have returned to their car safe and sound today. Local people alerted the Mayo Mountain Rescue Team after the group of tourists, all from the UK, failed to return from Mweelrea before dark last night.

One-Off Grant Announced For Mountain Rescue Services
A special one-off grant of €200,000 is to be made available for Mountain Rescue Ireland, Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport, Leo Varadkar and Minister of State for Tourism & Sport, Michael Ring have announced. The ministers said that the funding would be used to purchase new vehicles and equipment.

Rescue Teams Find Body Of Man On Mount Brandon
The body of a man has been found by rescue teams searching for a missing hillwalker on Mount Brandon in Co Kerry. A full scale search was launched by Kerry Mountain Rescue and the Dingle Coastguard after the man failed to return to his car on Tuesday, 22 August.

Missing Tramore Teenager Found Safe
A 16-year-old girl who went missing from her home in Tramore, Co Waterford, has been found safe and well, Gardaí have said. Margueritta 'Maggie' Goulden was reported missing on 8 January. It is understood the teenager was found in the Dublin area. Gardaí have thanked the public for their assistance in the case.
