Malaga-Dublin Flight Delayed Due To Bomb Hoax
Aer Lingus flight (EE 585), which was due to leave Malaga airport for Dublin at 1.00pm, has been delayed due to a bomb hoax.
Police in Malaga received the threat and all 330 passengers and 10 crew were off loaded at 12.20pm local time.
The aircraft was taken to a secure area at the airport to allow the police to conduct a search.
Passengers were subsequently permitted to embark and the flight has been rescheduled.

A number of early morning flights were disrupted at Cork Airport this morning, due to an ongoing air traffic controllers dispute. The affected airlines included Aer Lingus, Aer Arran and Ryanair and included flights to Amsterdam, Prague, Belfast, London and Munich, which were due to take off from 6:30am.

Handwriting Samples Ordered From Hoax Bomb Flight Passengers
A bomb hoax at Dublin Airport prompted police to request handwriting samples from 223 passengers and nine members of the flight crew on an Aer Lingus plane, it has been revealed. A major security operation was mounted on Saturday morning following the discovery of a note claiming a bomb was on board.

Flights Resume Following Fire At Dublin Airport
Flights have resumed at Dublin Airport following a fire at a hangar in a restricted area of the building. Flights were suspended for around 90 minutes while firefighters tackled a blaze at Hangar 3, which is in a restricted area separate from passengers facilities.

Plane Makes Emergency Landing At Cork Airport
A plane, with 149 passengers on board, made an emergency landing at Cork Airport at 11.45pm on Tuesday night. The Boeing 737-300 series flight was travelling from Belfast to Spain, however the pilot reported a suspected fuel leak and the flight was diverted to Cork. The aircraft landed safely and none of the passengers or staff were injured.

Delta Airlines Flight Make Emergency Landing In Dublin
A mobile phone left in the toilet forced a Delta Airlines flight to make an emergency landing at Dublin airport yesterday. It is understood the phone was discovered plugged into a shaving socket in the aircraft's toilet and wrapped in its own cable. The Boeing 767 was carrying 206 passengers from Istanbul to New York.
