Donegal Shots Man Questioned

A 38-year-old man is being held in custody following a shooting incident in Co. Donegal yesterday morning.

Garda arrested the man in St Johnston shortly after 9.30am when the followed up reports that a shotgun had been fired.

It is understood that a legally held shotgun was fired in the air outside a house.

A man has died following a road collision in Galway. The incident happened at Glenascaul in Oranmore around 1:30pm on Thursday. It is understood that the car the man was travelling in collided with a tractor.

A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Appeal For Privacy Wexford Family Deaths
The grandparents of two children who died in a Wexford house fire along with their parents have appealed for privacy to the media. Diarmuid and Lorraine Flood have made the request as they try to come to terms with the tragedy that claimed the lives of the couple and their two young children.
