Four Due In Court Over Largest Cocaine Seizure

Four men are due to appear in court today charged with the largest ever cocaine seizure in Ireland.

The men, who all have addresses in the UK, are due to appear before Cloverhill District Court on Tuesday, charged with possession of cocaine and possession of the drug for sale or supply.

The men were arrested after cocaine with an estimated street value of more than 100 million euros was found off the coast of Cork in July.

British Men Remanded Over €500M Cocaine Seizure
The three British men charged in connection with a €500 million cocaine seizure off the coast of West Cork have been remanded in continuing custody after Thursday's court appearance. Philip Doo, 52, Christopher Wiggins, 42, and David Mufford, 44 were in Kinsale District Court this morning facing charges under the Drugs Trafficking Act.

Two men have been arrested after gardai in Limerick seized a handgun, cocaine, cash and ammunition. The discovery was made during planned searched of six houses, outhouses and sheds in the Lower Gerald Griffin Street area at around 8.30am today (15 August).

Four Arrested By Operation Thor In Dundalk
Four men have been arrested in Dundalk, Co Louth, by officers from Operation Thor. The men, aged between their late teens to mid 30s, were arrested shortly before 15:00 on Monday, 25 January by Gardaí from the Regional Support Unit, Northern Region. They are being detained at Dundalk Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Two Men Charged After Cocaine Find
Two men have been charged with drugs possession after €140,000 of cocaine was seized in a car in Dublin. Anthony Eya, 37, and Charles Twesigye, 36, have also been charged with possession for sale and supply. The cocaine was found in a car search in Lucan on Monday and cash was also seized from a house in a follow-up search, according to Gardai.

Man Due In Court Over Clondalkin Cocaine Seizure
Cocaine worth an estimated €210,000 has been seized by gardaí in Clondalkin. Officers from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (DOCB) uncovered the drugs when they stopped and searched a van on Saturday afternoon, 11 June. During the course of the search, Gardaí discovered approximately 3kg of cocaine with an approximate street value of €210,000.
