Music Festival Death Investigated
A post mortem examination will take place today on the body of a 23-year-old man who died after attending the Electric Picnic Festival in County Laois over the weekend.
John Paul Fitzpatrick, from Healy's Bridge, Carrigrohane, County Cork, collapsed late on Saturday night and was taken to the Midlands Regional Hospital in Portlaoise where he later died.
It is understood the man was brought to the festival medical centre for treatment before being rushed to hospital.
