56-Year-Old Woman Dies In County Donegal Car Accident
A 56-year-old woman has died in a traffic accident in County Donegal.
The woman was driving one of two cars that were involved in the collision at Drumgun, Pettigo at 1.30pm on Tuesday afternoon.
A passenger in the woman’s car suffered minor injuries while the driver of the second car escaped injury.
The road was closed until approximately 8.00pm on Tuesday evening while the scene of the collision was examined.

Woman, 86, Struck By Car
An elderly woman has died after being struck by a car in Co Sligo. The incident happened on the N15 at Cartron, Bundoran Road, at around 6.40pm on Tuesday (9 December). The 86-year-old, who was a pedestrian, was struck by a car. She suffered serious injuries in the accident and was taken to Sligo General Hospital, but was later pronounced dead.

A woman has been seriously injured following a three-car collision on the N4 Dublin/Sligo Road. The crash occurred on the Edgeworth Road at approximately 5.30pm on Wednesday (7 January). The woman is currently being treated at Midland Regional Hospital. The main Dublin/Sligo Road has been closed and diversions are in place.
