Fresh Appeal For Missing Sligo Girl
Gardaí have launched a new appeal for information about missing Sligo teenager Melissa Mahon on the first anniversary of her disappearance.
Melissa, 15, was last seen on September 13, 2006.
She is described as being 5ft tall and of thin build, with long black hair and a pale complexion.

Ireland's law reform body has called for the plan to see the families of missing people to receive financial help with paying their bills. The Law Reform Commission (LRC) on Monday published its Consultation Paper on Civil Law Aspects of Missing Persons making 18 detailed provisional recommendations for reform of the law.

Two Missing People Found 'Safe And Well'
Two missing people, a 15-year-old boy and a 40-year-old man, have both been found "safe and well". Cian Cleary, 15, who had been missing from Bray since Wednesday, 13 July, has been found. No further information has been released, however gardaí thanked the public for their help.

'Human Remains' Found In Lake
Human remains have reportedly been found in a lake in Co. Sligo. Gardaí are understood to have found the bones in Lough Gill on Tuesday morning. A garda spokesperson says analysis and identification are likely to take a considerable period of time.

Two Arrested Over Murder Of Martin Kivlehan
Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of Martin Kivlehan. 59-year-old Mr Kivlehan was found with stab wounds at his apartment in Sligo on 03 August. Both men were both arrested in Sligo town and are currently being detained at Sligo Garda Station under Section 30 Offences Against the State Act 1939.

Pensioner Dies In Sligo Collision
A pensioner has died in a car crash in County Sligo. The collision, which involved a car and a van, occurred at Lufnadeffa, Ballysadare at around 12.20pm on Wednesday. The driver of the car, a female in her 80s and the van driver are being treated in hospital with serious injures. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them.
