Cannabis Seizure At Cork Airport
Cannabis with an estimated street value of €250,000 has been seized at Cork Airport, according to reports.
It is understood that around 20 kilos of herbal cannabis was discovered when customs officers opened a man's suitcase at the airport.
A 43-year-old South African is understood to have been arrested in connection with the find. It is believe that he arrived on the airport on a flight from Johannesburg via Heathrow.

Men Arrested Over Santry Cannabis Seizure
Cannabis worth an estimated €150,000 has been seized from a home in Larchill, Santry in Dublin, on Saturday. Gardaí arrested four men in connection with the find. They are due to appear in court on Monday.

Man Arrested Over €400,000 Cannabis Find
Cannabis with an estimated value of €400,000 has been seized in Co Donegal. Members of the Revenue and Gardaí uncovered the drugs during a search at Castlefin on Tuesday. Garda arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the find.

Cork Airport Accepts Debt Deal
Cork Airport Authority (CAA) has put an end to their long-running dispute with Dublin Airport by accepting recommendations that it assume millions of euros in debt as the price of independence. Last night, the CAA held a crunch meeting and agreed 'in principle' to accept the debt, in return for its independent operations.

A Fine Gael Front Bencher has called on the Government to honour the commitment given to Cork Airport and reject the Cassells report. The TD for Cork South Central, Simon Coveney, has spoken out over the controversial report, claiming the government is reneging on their promise that Cork Airport would open debt free.
