Four Arrests After Cork Drug Raids
Four men are being held for questioning by Gardaí in Cork after two drug seizures in the county.
Drug squad detectives seized an estimated €180,000 worth of heroin, ecstasy and cannabis after stopping a car at Shanakiel in the north side of the city, yesterday afternoon.
Following a search of the driver's home, a further €20,000 worth of drugs were also recovered.
The driver, believed to be in his 20s, was arrested and is currently being held at Gurranabraher Garda station.
Meanwhile, Gardaí seized approximately €50,000 worth of ecstasy tablets and cannabis at a house in Cobh.
They have arrested three men in connection with the incident.

Two men are being held following the discovery of cannabis and amphetamines worth an estimated €140,000. Some €20,000 worth of cannabis and €120,000 of amphetamines were uncovered when a car was stopped and searched in Waterford. Gardaí say the search was part of an ongoing operation.

A total of 45 people have been arrested in the past 48 hours in Gardaí a crackdown on the sale and supply of heroin and “crack” cocaine in the Dublin region. The operation, which involved Garda drug units from Kevin Street, Pearse Street and Store Street stations, resulted in 150 charges being brought, according to Gardaí this morning.

Two Arrested Over Finglas Drug Seizure
Gardaí have seized drugs worth an estimated €63,000 during a search in Finglas on Monday morning. Gardaí seized cannabis herb, cocaine and cash during the raid on a house in Berryfield Drive. A man and a woman, both aged in their 30s, were arrested at the scene. Gardaí say that a file is being prepared for the DPP.

Cannabis Seized In Co Kildare
Gardaí in Co Kildare have seized cannabis worth an estimated €800,000. The find was made during a planned search of a house in Crossmorris on Monday. Officers seized 40kg of cannabis herb in the search. A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the find.
