Offaly Bus Crash Injures Four
A bus driver and three of his passengers have been injured in a crash in Co Offaly.
The accident happened at Frederick St just outside the town of Clara around 9am on Monday.
Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore treated four people, including the driver of the vehicle after the accident.
However, it is thought that no one involved has been seriously hurt.
It is believed that the bus was taking students to Moate Business College.

Bus lanes around Dublin city should be opened to traffic during the ongoing Dublin Bus strike, a Fianna Fáil (FF) Senator has said. FF party spokesperson Darragh O'Brien, has called on the Minister for Transport to open up all bus lanes in Dublin to help commuters affected by the Dublin Bus strike.

Investigation Launches Into Dublin Bus Fire
An investigation has been launched into a fire on a Dublin Bus. The Fire Brigade was called to the out of service bus after it caught fire at about 13:00 in the Harold's Cross area. There were no passengers on board the bus at the time and the driver escaped uninjured. It is not yet known what caused the fire.

Former Bus Driver Found Not Guilty Of Killing Woman During Rampage
A former bus driver standing trial of a destructive rampage leading to the death of a pensioner has been found not guilty by verdict of insanity. The Jury acquitted Peter Clarke, 38, a former City of London policeman, after evidence from a Central Mental Hospital Director revealed Clarke was suffering from “paranoid schizophrenia”.
