Shock Clonmel Stab Death: Man Held
A woman has died and a man injured in a double stabbing in rural Co Tipperary.
Gardaí from Cahir were called to a cottage at Ballynamuddagh near Grange in Clonmel at around 12.30am on Tuesday morning.
A woman was found with serious injuries and taken to South Tipperary General Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
A young man who was found with injuries at the house was also taken to hospital in Clonmel and later transferred to Cork University Hospital.
It appears the two had been stabbed and police said that a man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is being held at Cahir Garda Station.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Man Dies In Limerick Collision
A man has died in a crash in Co Limerick. The car veered off the road and hit a ditch at Dromsallagh at around 4.15am on Sunday, 05 June. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man is currently being treated for his injuries at the University Hospital Limerick. The road has been re-opened.

Man Dies In Tipperary Collision
A man, aged in his 70s, has died in a collision in Tipperary. He was killed after the car he was driving collided with another car in Borrisokane on Sunday, 05 June, at around 5.15pm. The woman in the other car sustained serious injuries and is currently being treated at Limerick University Hospital.

Gardai have launched an investigation following a suspicious fire at a house in Rhode, Co. Offaly on Monday. The incident occurred between 11.30pm on Sunday and 1.50am on Monday. A 24-year-old man sustained serious injuries and has been transferred to St James Hospital where his condition is described as critical.
