Pedestrians Die In Overnight Crashes
Two pedestrians have been killed in overnight road accidents.
In the first incident, a man died after being struck by a car on the N72 between Lismore and Tallow in Co Waterford. The man, believed to be in his 40s, was walking near Toortane when the incident happened shortly after 1.30am on Tuesday.
A section of the road remains closed for a technical examination and is not expected to be reopened until midday.
In the second incident, a man in his 60s died after being struck by a car in Trimeragh in Letterkenny in Co Donegal around 1.45am.
Diversions are in place and the scene has been sealed off for a technical examination.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Two More Killed In Overnight Road Crashes
There have been another two fatalities in overnight car crashes. A 22-year-old man died after the car he was a passenger in overturned and struck an embankment in Forenaughts Little in Naas, Co Kildare. The incident happened around 1.50am on Monday. His body was taken to Naas General Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

Man Dies After Being Struck By Car In Co Galway
A 66-year-old pedestrian has died after he was hit by a car in Co Galway. The accident happened shortly after 12.30am on Monday on the N18. The vehicle also struck a parked Garda car and two officers who were outside the car were injured. The man was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to The University Hospital Galway.

Co Waterford Man Dies In Thailand
A 24-year-old man from Co Waterford has reportedly died in a drowning incident in Thailand. The Department of Foreign Affairs confirmed that an Irishman identified as David Houlihan from the Dungarvan area, died following an "incident". A full investigation into the cause of Mr Houlihan's death is underway.
