Ennis Blaze Alert
Fire brigade units from four stations in Co Clare are dealing with a major blaze in Ennis town this morning.
The fire was reported at 6am at a commercial premises on Station Road in the town.
It is not thought that there is anybody in the building.
Up to eight units of the Clare County Fire and Rescue Service from Ennis, Shannon, Scarriff and Ennistymon are now fighting the blaze while local traffic diversions are also in place.

Investigation Follows Dublin Blazes
Gardaí have launched an investigation following a series of fires in Dublin yesterday evening. The suspicious blazes led Dublin Fire Brigade to attend three separate incidents in the Darndale area in the northside of the city within just over an hour. The first fire began at three unoccupied houses in the Buttercup Park estate at about 9.10pm.

Probe Launched Into Ennis Blaze
Gardaí are investigating a fire at a house in Ennis, Co Clare. Fire crews were called to a house on St Anne's Terrace on Clonroad shortly after midnight, following reports of a car fire. However, when they arrived they also discovered a blaze at the back of the house.

Dublin Fire Brigade Responds To 1,100 Calls On Halloween Night
Dublin Fire Brigade has revealed it responded to 1,100 emergency calls during Halloween night. On what is normally the service's busiest night of the year, there were also reports of attacks on fire crews while Dublin Bus was forced to withdraw its service in part of the city.

Mountjoy Prison Cell Fire
A fire broke out in a cell at Dublin's Mountjoy Prison on Thursday night, according to reports. It is understood that a prisoner had set fire to a cell. However, it is believed that prison staff and fire crews were able to contain the fire quickly. No-one was injured in the incident.
