Trawler Nets Huge Haul Of Drugs
The Customs Service has confirmed that two bales of cannabis have been found off the coast of Donegal.
A Donegal-based fishing trawler found the bales, which contained 60kgs of resin, which is worth around 400,000 euros.
Customs officials said that the bales had been well wrapped and it is believed that they were only in the water for a short while.
The drugs were discovered close to the area where 261kgs of cannabis was found in September by another trawler.
An investigation has been launched into the latest discovery.

Up to €5.3 million worth of drugs have been seized following a search operation in Co Meath. As part of a planned operation by Gardaí from Meath Divisional Drugs Unit, officers carried out the search at a property in Clinstown, Stamullen at 2.45pm on Thursday, 29 June.

Men Arrested Over Santry Cannabis Seizure
Cannabis worth an estimated €150,000 has been seized from a home in Larchill, Santry in Dublin, on Saturday. Gardaí arrested four men in connection with the find. They are due to appear in court on Monday.

Cannabis Seized During Raid In Wexford
Gardai have seized herbal cannabis following a raid on a house in Wexford. It is estimated to have a street value of €45,000. A number of plants were found during the search of a property in Lee Heights on Thursday. No arrests were made and investigations are continuing.
