Man Injured In Fight In Athenry
A man has reportedly suffered facial injuries during a street disturbance in Athenry, Co Galway on Monday night.
According to reports, gardaí were called to the main street in the town around 11pm, following reports that up to 50 members of the travelling community were involved in a row at Keane's bar.
The crowd, who are believed to have earlier attended a funeral in Tuam, dispersed after the man was taken to University College Hospital in Galway for treatment.

An Irish man has reportedly died after falling from a balcony in Italy. The 24-year-old, believed to be from Dublin, is thought to have fallen from a balcony at an apartment in the municipality of Naples. The man was living in the city and working as a teacher. The Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance to his family.

Missing Galway Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Gardaí in Galway have reported that John Moyles has been found "safe and well". The 23-year-old, from the Rahoon area of Galway, was reported missing on Sunday. It is understood that he was found in the Dublin area. Garda have thanked the public for their help.

Body Discovered In Galway Street
An investigation is underway following the discovery of a body in Galway city this morning. It is understood that the body of a 40-year-old local man was found at around 07:30 on Wednesday morning on Shop St. Gardaí have said that they do not believe the death to be suspicious.

Gardaí Seize Cocaine In Cork
Three kilos of cocaine have been seized by gardaí during searches in Cork. One kilo of the drug was found in a van stopped by officers at Strawhall in Fermoy on Thursday evening. A man, believed to be the van driver, was arrested. Two more kilos of the drug was found during a follow-up search of a flat in Mitchelstown.
