Garda Injured In Co Tipperary Attack
A Garda suffered minor injuries after being attack by a several men in Co Tipperary on Thursday night.
The incident happened around 8:30pm, when the officer stopped a car between Clogheen and the Vee Valley.
He was set upon by three men and attacked. It is believed that he was struck with an implement, which may have been an iron bar.
The men then drove off in the direction of Lismore.
It is understood that the injured officer was back at work on Friday morning.
Anyone with any information regarding the attack is asked to contact Gardaí at Cahir Garda Station.

Elderly Man Seriously Injured After Assault In Cork
An elderly man has been taken to hospital after suffering serious injuries in an overnight attack in county Cork. The pensioner, a man in his 70s, received a punctured lung and other injuries when he was set upon in a car park in Sleaveen East in Macroom. A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene and taken to Bandon Garda Station.

Man Arrested Following Carjacking
A man has been arrested in connection with a carjacking in Dublin which happened on 21 April. The man was arrested on Monday in the city centre. The attack took place outside the Argyle House apartments in Ballsbridge. Liz Turley was attempting to enter the apartments when a male and female tried to steal her car.

Man Questioned Over Dublin Stabbing
A man is being questioned after a man was found stabbed to death at a house in Co Dublin. Michael Gannon, 55, was attacked in his daughter's home at Mourne Park, Skerries, on Thursday evening. It is understood he was babysitting his two grandchildren at the time. The attack happened shortly before 6pm.
