Man Charged Over Beer Kegs Robbery

A man has been charged in connection with the theft of 450 beer kegs from Dublin's Guinness Brewery last week.

Two men, both aged in their twenties, were arrested on Wednesday, following a search in Co. Meath on Monday in which a quantity of property was recovered.

One man was released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The other man has been charged and released on bail to appear at Kilmainham District Court on December 21.

The robbery took place at the brewery on Victoria Quay on November 28.

A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Man Dies In Stabbing Incident
A 30-year-old has died and a second man has been injured in a stabbing incident in Tullamore, Co Offaly, shortly after 7am this morning. It is believed there had been an argument in a house in the area and a Polish man was killed. The other man's injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Two For Court Over Kildare Heroin
Two men are due to appear in court today, charged in connection with the discovery of €2.4 million of heroin in Kildare yesterday. Around 12g of the drug was discovered after gardaí stopped and searched a number of cars off the Naas Road at Kill. Four men, three aged in their 20s and one aged 51, were arrested at the scene.
