One Dead In N3 Road Crash
One person has been killed and two more people have been injured in a road traffic accident in Co Meath.
The crash happened at Kilmainham, on the N3 between Navan and Kells on Friday morning, with the road expected to be closed for much of the afternoon.
Motorists are being diverted onto alternative routes.
The accident - which took place this morning - involved a collision between a truck and a car.

Man Dies In Overnight Road Crash
A man has died when his car collided with a van on the Rathbeale road in Swords, Dublin, around 02.30am on Wednesday morning. The man in his 40s was a passenger in the van. He died at the scene. The driver of the van and a second passenger are being treated in hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Witnesses Sought Following Fatal Road Accident In Co Louth
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to a fatal road accident in Collon, Co Louth. The single vehicle road accident happened at about 1am on Tuesday morning close to Brannigan's Cross on the Collon to Tinure Road. A 32-year-old man, the sole occupant of the car, suffered serious injuries when his car left the road and struck a ditch.

Missing Man Body Recovered From Lake
The body of missing Crossmaglen man Padraig Campbell has been found. The 37-year-old’s body was recovered from a lake in Co Monaghon last night. Campbell, of Drumbroy Road, Castleblaney, has been missing from the 18 March. Gardai have described his death as a tragic accident, however a post-mortem will be carried out.

While motorists are today being warned of delays on the M4 at Leixlip East in Co Kildare after a crash, the police continue to probe a fatal accident yesterday. This morning's accident has caused a multi-vehicle crash on the Dublin-bound lane of the main motorway.

A 34-year-old man has died following a road accident in Dublin on Sunday morning. The man was driving a car, which crashed on Hearse Road in Donabate on the morning of August 5. The man was taken to Beaumont Hospital to be treated but died from his injuries on Tuesday night. Gardai have commenced an investigation into the accident.
