Two Arrested Following Dublin Shooting

A man and a teenage boy have been arrested in connection with a shooting in Finglas in north Dublin.

The shooting happened at Ratoath Drive around 10:30pm on Tuesday. A 34-year-old was shot with a sawn-off shotgun and received minor injuries to his head and face.

A 14-year-old and a 19-year-old were arrested shortly after the shooting. They are being held at Finglas garda station.

Man Arrested In Connection With Finglas Shooting
A 27-year-old man has been arrested over the fatal shooting of a man in the Fingals area of Dublin in late 2007. Gardai investigating the shooting of 36-year-old Derek Duffy at Casement Park, Finglas made the arrest last night in Dublin City Centre. Derek Duffy was gunned down at approximately 4am on the 23rd September 2007.

Eight Arrested Over Finglas Shooting
Some eight arrests have been made in Dublin today, in connection with a shooting incident in the area on December 30. Gardai in Finglas investigating the shooting incident, which occurred outside “The Cappagh Nua” public house on Barry Road, said they had made the arrests after carrying out a number of searches.

Man Arrested In Connection With Finglas Shooting
Gardai investigating the shooting of a man in Dublin have arrested a 24-year-old man in connection with the incident. The shooting took place in the Cardiffsbridge Road in Finglas on the morning of November 15. Police made the arrest in the Ballymun area of the city.

Teenager And Young Child Injured In Alleged Shooting In West Dublin
An investigation has been launched into an alleged shooting incident in West Dublin. According to reports, a teenager and a young child have been injured in an incident that gardaí have said is "ongoing" in the Parlickstown area of Blanchardstown. The area has been sealed off and gardaí are at the scene. Further updates to follow.

Man Arrested In Connection With Thomas Shooting
A man has been arrested in Dublin this morning in connection with the shooting of the 47-year-old David Thomas last year. Gardai in Finglas investigating the fatal shooting said this morning they had arrested a male aged in 20s at Main Street, Finglas. He is currently being detained at Finglas Garda Station under the Criminal Justice Act.
