Multiple Road Death Tragedies
There have three more tragic road deaths in the Irish Republic.
A man died following a motorcycle accident in Co Louth.
According to Gardaí, the 27-year-old was fatally injured when his motorcycle left the road at Ballybarrack, Knockbridge Road, Dundalk, shortly after 9pm last night.
Meanwhile, another man has died following a car accident in Co Kildare.
It happened when the 27-year-old's car entered the canal at Ardclough near Straffan at around 9pm last night.
His body has been recovered from the vehicle and a post mortem is due to take place at Naas General Hospital.
Another victim, a 30-year-old man, has died after a road collision in Co Wicklow.
The man's moped collided with a car at Hollywood Cross, Hollywood, Co Wicklow shortly after 8pm last night.
He was seriously injured and brought to Naas Hospital, where he died this afternoon.
Gardaí are investigating the crash.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses of a fatal road accident in Co Kerry. A 24-year-old man died when the car he was driving hit a wall on the N69 Tralee-Listowel Road in Glenballyma in Tralee. The accident happened at about 21:45 on Saturday. A post-mortem is due to be carried out today.

Woman, 82, Dies In Road Accident
An 82-year-old woman has died following a road accident in Donegal. The crash occurred at around 3.50pm on Monday (18 August) at The Ross in Bundoran. Gardaí have said a car collided with a fence in the incident. The woman was transferred to Sligo Hospital but later died from her injuries. Anyone with information is asked to contact Gardaí.

A 69-year-old man died in hospital following the collision on the Inner Relief Road in Dundalk at about 17:00, garda have reported. It is understood the man was driving a car that was involved in a collision with a bus.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to two fatal road accidents on Saturday. A 62-year-old man died when the car he was a passenger in left the road on the M50 at about 12:45am between Junction 10 Ballymount and Junction 11 Tallaght. The 60-year-old female driver is in a critical condition in Tallaght Hospital.

A man has died in a road crash in Co Monaghan, gardaí have reported. According to gardaí the man in his 20s died in a two-car collision on the N2 Dublin-Monaghan, south of Carrickmacross. It is understood the victim was the driver of the one of the cars involved in the accident.
