Man Stabbed In Limerick
A man is recovering after being stabbed with a screwdriver during an attack in Limerick city in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The incident happened around 3:30am on Upper Mallow Street. It is believed that the victim, a man in his 40s, was attacked after refusing to give two youths a cigarette.
The victim suffered facial and shoulder injuries. It is understood that he has now been released from hospital.
Gardaí said that they are searching for two youths in connection with the attack. One is described as tall and was wearing a dark-coloured hoodie. The other is described as being smaller and was wearing similiar clothing.

Missing 25-Year-Old Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A 25-year-old man who was missing from Harcourt Street in Dublin has been found safe and well, Gardaí have reported. Simon Quinn was reported missing after last being seen at around 2.30am on Monday, 30 July. However, Mr Quinn has now been found and Gardaí said they wish to thank the media and public for their assistance.

Man Injured In Gun Attack
A man, 21, has been shot in Dublin in the early hours of Wednesday morning. The attack happened at Slieve Bloom Park in Driminagh at around 5.10am. The man is being treated for injuries to his leg at St James' Hospital. Gardai are appealing to witnesses to contact them.

Gardai Investigate Hammer Attack
An investigation has been launched by Cork garda following an attack on a 20-year-old man. The man was stabbed in the arm and hit on the head with a hammer in the late night attack, which took place in the Mardyke area of the city near University College Cork at about 10.30pm on Friday.
