Flights Affected By Fog

Heavy fog caused delays on several flights arriving into Dublin and Shannon airports this morning.

The weather conditions resulted in a few flights being cancelled, but Dublin Airport Authority said that passengers had been accommodated on other flights.

Fog also lead to delays on incoming flights at both Heathrow and London City airports.

Earlier, motorists were warned to take care on the roads as very heavy fog and mist with frosty conditions affected most areas of the country.

The foggy conditions remained in areas of Dublin and Meath until this afternoon.
