Man Stabbed In Wexford

A man is in hospital after being stabbed in Co. Wexford on Sunday night.

The incident happened in North Street in New Ross around 10pm.

It is understood that the victim, believed to be a 43-year-old man, was stabbed several times in the shoulder and lungs.

He is reported to be in a stable condition in Waterford Regional Hospital.

No arrests have been made.

Gardaí are investigating after a man was stabbed a number of times in Cork city last night, Sunday 12 May. The 30-year-old was attacked at Ardmore Avenue, Knocknaheeny at around 10.50pm. A father and son are being treated in hospital for stab wounds after they encountered a man who is believed to be trying to break into their car early on Tuesday morning. Gardaí said the 47-year-old man and his 17-year-old son were stabbed multiple times, however their wounds have been described as "minor".

Wexford Man Stabbed At Door
An investigation has been launched into the stabbing of a man in County Wexford in the early hours of Wednesday morning. According to Gardaí, shortly after mid-night a 27-year-old man answered a call to the door of his home in Hollyville Heights and was involved in an altercation with the male caller.

Man Dies In Limerick Collision
A man has died in a crash in Co Limerick. The car veered off the road and hit a ditch at Dromsallagh at around 4.15am on Sunday, 05 June. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man is currently being treated for his injuries at the University Hospital Limerick. The road has been re-opened.

Several significant changes have been made to the outline of the Bill, which was published in April. The Minister for Health will be given the power to stop suspended an institution if deemed to be operating the Act inappropriately.
