Body Found In Co Clare
A badly decomposed body discovered near the Ballina village is being investigated by police.
A man discovered the body at around 4pm yesterday as he was out walking his dog in the lands overlooking Lough Derg at Ryanich.
A team of technical offices are investigating the cordoned off scene and the State Pathologists office is to join in the investigation.
State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy, is due to arrive at the scene this morning.
Gardi have been unable to release any information on the identity of the body due to the amount of decomposition the body has incurred.
This is now the second body under investigation by gardai. A body was also found near Bray in Co Wicklow earlier in the week and is believed to be that of an Elderly woman.

Gardai have launched an investigation after a body was discovered in Bundoran, Co Donegal, this morning (25 April). The body, believed to be a man aged in his 60's or 70's, was found near the shore in the West End of the town. It is believed the body remains at the scene.

Gardai have launched an investigation following the discovery of a woman's body in a house in Dublin. The body of the 43-year-old was found in a house in Rathgar Road in Rathmines just before midnight on Wednesday. A forensic examination is being carried out and the body remains at the scene.

Two Arrested In Connection With Body Found In Co Limerick
Two men have been arrested in connection with the discovery of a man's body at a house in Pallasgreen, Co Limerick. Garda were called to reports that a man had been stabbed in The Grove area at about 23:00 on Thursday night. Garda discovered the man's body when they arrived at the scene, where he was pronounced dead.

Woman's Body Found At House In Co Meath
Gardaí in Co Meath have discovered the body of a woman at a house in Longwood. According to gardaí they discovered the woman's body at around 17:00 on Monday at a house in Edgeworth Court. An injured man, believed to be aged in his 30s, was also found at the scene and is being treated at Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar.
