Three Arrested For Airport Murder
Three people have been arrested in connection with the murder of a man at Dublin Airport in April 2007.
Estonian man, Valeri Ranert, was pulled from his car and attacked by a gang whilst parked at a lay-by outside Dublin Airport around 1.00am on April 30 of last year.
An Estonian woman was with Mr Ranert at the time of the attack. She managed to flee and raise the alarm, but Mr Ranert was left lying on the roadside as the attackers made their escape.
The car was later found abandoned at a disused halting site near Darndale, off the N32.
Mr Ranert died at around 2am on the morning he was attacked.
Two people were arrested later that day, a 17-year-old and a man in his early 20s. Both were subsequently released without charge.

Over 18,000 Cigarettes Seized At Dublin Airport
More than 18,000 cigarettes have been seized by revenue officers at Dublin Airport. The contraband 'NZ' cigarettes were discovered by a detector dog in the checked-in luggage of a 42-year-old Estonian man on Tuesday. The cigarettes have an estimated retail value of €9,700 and represent a potential loss to the Exchequer of around €7,700.

Man Arrested Over €400,000 Cannabis Find
Cannabis with an estimated value of €400,000 has been seized in Co Donegal. Members of the Revenue and Gardaí uncovered the drugs during a search at Castlefin on Tuesday. Garda arrested a man in his 30s in connection with the find.

Gardaí Investigating After Shots Fired In Dublin
Gardaí are investigating after reports of gunshots in Dublin yesterday morning, Monday 22 April. The incident took plate on the Whitechapel Road, Clonsilla at around 10.45am. No injuries were reported. Investigating officers later arrested a 30-year-old man during a follow-up search of a house.
