Deliberations Resume For Brian Kearney Trial
Jury deliberations will resume today for the trail of Brian Kearney who is accused of murdering his wife at their home in Goatstown, Dublin in February 2006.
Judge Mr Justice Barry White sent the twelve members of the jury to a hotel following over two hours of deliberations.
The jury consisting of eight women and four men must make a decision on Mr Kearney's not guilty plea.

Kearney Trial Continues
The trial of Brian Kearney for the murder of his wife Siobhan continued at Dublin's Central Criminal Court today, with evidence from the emergency services. Brian Kearney, 50, from Carnroe, Knocknashee, Goatstown, had pleaded not guilty to the murder of his 38-year-old wife at their home on February 28, 2006. Her body was found in her bedroom.

Jury Discharged In Kearney Trial
The jury in the trial of Brian Kearney for the alleged murder of his wife has been discharged. It is understood that the decision was made because one of the members of the jury worked for the company that fitted the alarm system at the Kearney's home.

Gardaí Appeal For Witnesses To Hit-And-Run & Shooting Incident
Gardaí have issued an appeal for information after a cyclist was run off the road before being shot a number of times in Dublin. Shortly after 9.30pm last night, Monday 27 March, a man was cycling on James Joyce Street when he was struck by a silver Ford Focus, license plate 08CN6682, at the junction of James Joyce Street and Sean McDermott Street.

€12.5m Housing Development Opens In Dublin
A new €12.5m social housing development is due to open in Dublin today. The Peadar Kearney House building, located on Railway Street, consists of 56 homes as well as a community facility and underground car parking. The scheme is managed by Circle Housing Association on behalf of the Council.
