Body In Car Identified As Missing Teacher

The body which was found in a submerged car near Rossaveal Pier in Galway last week has been identified as that of a missing Dublin schoolteacher.

Gardai have confirmed that the remains are those of 41-year-old Roseanne Kenny, from Kilmacud.

Ms Kenny disappeared on New Year's Eve whilst on holiday in Connemara with her husband and brother.

Ireland's law reform body has called for the plan to see the families of missing people to receive financial help with paying their bills. The Law Reform Commission (LRC) on Monday published its Consultation Paper on Civil Law Aspects of Missing Persons making 18 detailed provisional recommendations for reform of the law.

Body Confirmed As Missing Co Kilkenny Man
Gardaí have found the body of a man that was reported missing two weeks ago. The body of Billy Dooley, of Castlecomer, Co Kilkenny, was found in a public toilet in the town. It is understood that gardaí had been searching for Mr Dooley for a fortnight. They say that his death is not being treated as suspicious.

Irishman's Burnt Body Identified In Malaga
The burned body found near Malaga in April has been identified as that of a missing Irishman. The 57-year-old Irishman, who had been reported missing by his girlfriend and daughter almost two months ago, was last seen in the principality of Mijas on 11 April.

100 New Jobs Created By Pharmaceutical Research Firm
Up to 100 new jobs are to be created in Dublin by Irish pharmaceutical research company, APC Ltd. The jobs were announced by the company as they officially opened a new state-of-the-art research facility, which will also act as its headquarters, in Cherrywood, Dublin.

125 New Jobs Announced For Dublin
One hundred and twenty five new jobs are to be created in Dublin by two US technology firms. Adroll, an internet advertising agency has announced the creation of 100 jobs with the expansion of its European headquarters in Dublin. The firm set up in Ireland in 2013 and says it will create the new roles within the next year.
