Petrol Bomb Attack On House In Derry

Police in Derry are investigating a petrol bomb attack on a house in the Moyne Avenue area of the city.

The front of the house was damaged and a window was broken in the incident which happened at around 3am this morning.

A couple were in the house at the time but no one was injured in the attack.

An investigation has been launched into a suspected petrol bomb attack on Ennis Courthouse in Co Clare. It is understood that gardaí discovered a smashed window at the family law courtroom, with a bottle and traces of accelerant found inside.

Petrol Bombs Thrown At House In Waterford City
Gardaí have issued an appeal for information following a petrol bomb attack on a house in Waterford city on Tuesday night. At about 3am last night three petrol bombs were thrown at a house on Dominic's Place. There was fire damage to the house but there have been no reports of any injuries.

Man Arrested Over Fatal House Fire Released Without Charge
A man arrested in connection with a fatal house fire in Dublin has been released without charge. A 44-year-old man died in the blaze which happened at a property on Oakland's Terrace, Rathgar, at around 3am on Tuesday, 21 August. It is understood the man had escaped from the fire before returning inside and suffered critical injuries.

Children Injured In Petrol Bomb Attack
Two children are being treated in hospital following a petrol bomb attack on a house in Waterford city. Gardaí say that an 11-year-old girl and her 1-year-old sister suffered burns and cuts in the attack on their home in Ardmore Park in Ballybeg. The house was attacked at about 21:00 on Thursday.
