Witnesses Asked To Come Forward Over Finglas
Witnesses have been asked to come forward with information following attacks on buses in the Finglas area of Dublin.
The bus service has been severely limited as bus drivers fear for their safety. Workers for the bus service claim at least one attack per night was made on their vehicles over the past three weeks.
Buses on the 40 and 220 routes have been withdrawn from 7pm onwards, including weekends.
A meeting on the curtailment of bus services in the area is due to take place this weekend. Representatives from the bus services, unions, local representatives and the gardai will attend.

Investigation Launches Into Dublin Bus Fire
An investigation has been launched into a fire on a Dublin Bus. The Fire Brigade was called to the out of service bus after it caught fire at about 13:00 in the Harold's Cross area. There were no passengers on board the bus at the time and the driver escaped uninjured. It is not yet known what caused the fire.
