Limerick Searches Recover 30,000 Ecstasy Tablets
A huge cache of drugs, which are at the centre of the ongoing gang feud in Limerick, has been recovered by Gardaí.
Gardaí discovered 30,000 ecstasy tablets during their ongoing investigations into the gangland feud that has claimed two lives over the past week.
The drugs were found during a search of a field in the O'Malley Park area of the city last night.
Gardaí say the tablets had a street value of €300,000. Further searches are expected to be carried out in the area today.
It is believed a major element in the present gang feud involves the control of drug money coming into the city.
