Body Of Longford Man Found In River
The body of a man has been recovered from the Inny River near Ballymahon, Co Longford. The body has been identified as that of 52-year-old Seamus Delaney who was last seen at his home in Ballymahon on Sunday.
His body has been removed to Mullingar General Hospital where a post mortem examination will be carried out.
Two Drivers Killed In Separate Incidents crashes
Two men have died in separate road crashes on early Thursday morning.
A 20-year-old man was killed when the car he was driving went out of control and left the road in Ralahine, between Sixmilebridge and Newmarket-on-Fergus, Co Clare.
He has been named locally as Eamon O'Neill of Granaghan, Newmarket-on-Fergus.
His car was discovered by a passing motorist at around 6am. The vehicle may have been at the scene for several hours. He was the only occupant of the car and died at the roadside. No other vehicle is thought to have been involved in the crash
Meanwhile, in Co Offaly a Latvian national was fatally injured when his car crashed at a narrow bridge. The incident happened at around 7am at Annagh near Birr. No other vehicles were involved and the man was alone in the car. He was pronounced dead at Tullamore General Hospital, and his name has not yet been released.
Man dies in Clare crash
A 23-year-old man was killed in a car crash early on Friday morning.
The incident took place at Dough, Lahinch, Co Clare at 1.30am.
Gardaí said they believe the man was the driver of the car and he was pronounced dead at Ennis General Hospital. No other vehicles were involved. A garda spokesman said: "Two women and one man in their twenties who were passengers in the car were taken to hospital with minor injuries. "The road is closed in the area for technical examination by forensic collision investigators."

Man Dies In Limerick Collision
A man has died in a crash in Co Limerick. The car veered off the road and hit a ditch at Dromsallagh at around 4.15am on Sunday, 05 June. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. A second man is currently being treated for his injuries at the University Hospital Limerick. The road has been re-opened.

Garda Appeal For Witnesses To Fatal Galway Accident
Gardaí are appealing to witnesses of a fatal road accident in Galway on Tuesday night. A 60-year-old man died after his car hit a wall in the Liosban Industrial Estate at about 22:00. No other vehicles were involved in the accident. The victim was pronounced dead at University College Hospital Galway.

Man Arrested After Car Crashes Through Trinity Gates
A 68-year-old man has been arrested after crashing through the gates of Trinity College Dublin. The car rammed the gates a number of times, which had already been closed by security staff, before breaking through and causing damage to the gates. The car continued to drive up Dawson Street and also caused damage to other cars.
