Teen Arrested Over Million Euro Drug Find
Gardai from Ronanstown have arrested a teenager and seized a haul of drugs worth over one and a half million euro.
Approximately 108kg of what is believed to be cannabis resin with a street value of around €800,000 and 62kg of what is believed to be cannabis herb with an estimated street value of €750,000 has been seized by gardaí.
The find was made at approximately 5.15am on Sunday at Fonthill Road, Clondalkin, Dublin.
Quantities of the drugs were initially discovered in bushes in the Clondalkin area. The finds led to follow-up searches in the area and eventually to the discovery by gardaí of the remainder of the drugs in a motor-van, which has been taken for technical examination.
An 18-year old man was arrested near the scene, and is currently being detained at Ronanstown Garda Station. The find was carried out by members of the District Drugs Unit assisted by uniformed members from Ronanstown Garda Station.

Gardaí have revealed this morning that an additional four people have been arrested in connection with drugs finds in Dublin since yesterday. The latest details of arrests come shortly after it was revealed a man and woman were arrested in the Stillorgan area of Dublin after a major drug find yesterday afternoon.

Gardaí in Waterford have arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with the discovery of cannabis herb worth an estimated €110,000. The drugs were uncovered during a search of an apartment in Penrose Court, Penrose Lane, on Tuesday evening. Gardaí say that the man is being held at Waterford Garda Station.
