Dublin Raids Uncover 'Suspicious Devices'

Army experts have been called to a house in Dublin, following the discovery of two suspect devices.

Gardaí raided the house in the Barry Drive area of Finglas in a planned search, just after 6pm on Tuesday.

An Army Explosives team were called to the scene and removed the devices for further examination.

Drugs worth an estimated street value of €350,000 - thought to be cannabis - were also seized.

One man was arrested during the raid. He is currently being detained at Finglas Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act, where he can be held for up to seven days.

Arrests Made Over Suspect Devices Found In Cork
Two men and a woman have been arrested in connection with the discovery of a number of suspect devices found in Cork city last year. A man and a woman in their 30s were detained in Kells, Co Meath on Tuesday, while another man in his 20s was arrested in Mallow, Co Cork.
