Man In Court Over €250k Drugs Seizure
A 37-year-old man is due to appear in court today, in relation to the discovery of cocaine worth an estimated street value of around €250,000.
The seizure was made by the Garda National Drugs Unit in a car on the Malahide Road, Dublin, during a surveillance operation.
The drugs were found during an investigation into the activities of a north Dublin drugs gang.
The man was arrested on Tuesday at an apartment in the Northern Cross area, in North Dublin.

Cocaine And Cannabis Seized In Co Kildare
Cocaine and cannabis herb worth an estimated €34,000 has been seized in Moone, Co Kildare. As part of a planned search of a premises at Lower Belan, garda uncovered €14,000 worth of cocaine and €20,000 worth of cannabis, shortly before midnight on Sunday, 12 June.

Arrests Made After €400,000 Cannabis Seizure
Garda in Co Galway have arrested two men following the seizure of cannabis with an estimate value of €400,000. Officers from the National Drugs Unit carried out a search of a private residence in Tuam, Co Galway, at around 17:00 on Tuesday, uncovering 20kg of the drug. Two men, aged 49 and 41, were arrested at the scene.

Cannabis with an estimated street value of €900,000 has been seized in separate raids in Limerick, Wexford and Cavan. The Co Limerick search, carried out in an open area at Ballyhahill, Glin, uncovered approximately €400,000 of the drug. No arrests were made and investigations are ongoing.

Cannabis Seized In Dublin
Cannabis with an estimated street value of €1.5 billion as been seized during raids in Dublin. It is understood that 40 kilos of cannabis was discovered by officers from the Garda National Drugs Unit in a car, which was stopped near Chapelizod on Tuesday evening. The driver of the car, believed to be a 25-year-old Irish man, was arrested.
