Four Arrested In Guns Investigation

Four arrests have been made following an investigation into the sale and supply of guns in County Louth.

Two 21-year-old men from Dundalk, a 30-year-old man and a 26-year old woman, both from Dublin were detained yesterday. Two of the men are currently being questioned at Dundalk Garda Station, while one of the men and the woman are being held at Castleblayney.

A firearm, ammunition and a quantity of cash were seized after cars were stopped and searched in the Castle-Bellingham and Haggardstown areas, outside Dundalk between 6pm and 7pm on Thursday.

A garda search targeting criminal and subversive activity has lead to the arrest of two men in Dundalk, Co Louth. Various properties at six locations in Dundalk were targeted in the early morning seaches, which garda said where not directly related to the investigation into the murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe.

Gardaí Arrest Four Men In Connection With Drogheda Shooting
Gardaí investigating a shooting in Drogheda, County Louth in February have arrested four men. The two 23-year-olds and two others aged 27 and 49 were detained after a number of searches. A man in his 30s was shot at the M1 Retail Park on Tuesday 26 February and was later treated in hospital.

Woman Arrested Over Seamus McMahon Murder
Gardai have arrested a woman, aged in her 20s, as part of an ongoing investigation into the murder of Seamus Mc Mahon in Dundalk on the 21st of March 2010. Two men entered a house at Bóthar Crionn and shot Mr McMahon.

Two Men And Woman Arrested In Kevin Lunney Investigation
Gardaí investigating the kidnapping and torture of Quinn Industrial Holdings director Kevin Lunney have arrested two men and a woman. Mr Lunney was attacked on 17 September as he made his way home from work.
