Man Goes Missing In Navan

Gardaí in Navan are appealing for the assistance of the public in tracking down the whereabouts of a man in Navan.

Kalman Somogyi, aged 50, has not been seen since Wednesday last, 23rd July this year. He is a native of Hungary and had only moved to Navan last week.

The man was staying in rented accommodation at Glenveigh, Boyne Road, Navan. He went out for a walk at 11.00am on Wednesday morning and has not been seen since.

Kalman is described as 5'5''in height with short grey hair and a dark moustache. When last seen he was wearing jeans and white runners, and possibly a short sleeved top.

Gardaí are appealing for help in tracing 42-year-old Iduwu Soyemi, who has been missing for more than a month. Mr Soyemi was last seen at Windtown in Navan on the evening of Saturday 28 February. When last seen he was wearing a striped shirt, a blue jumper, black trousers and blue runners.

Gardaí Search For Teenage Girl
Gardaí at Navan are anxious to trace the whereabouts of 17 year old Lisa Gilraine. Lisa was last seen in Navan at 5.30pm on Saturday 7th April 2012. She is described as being 5'9" in height with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black tracksuit.

Missing Cork Man Found 'Safe And Well'
A missing 52-year-old man from Cork has been found 'safe and well', garda have reported. John Ryan was last seen in the Shanakiel area of Cork City on Wednesday, 24 May. However, Mr Ryan has now been located and no further action is required.

Missing Co Mayo Man Found 'Safe And Well'
Missing Co Mayo man, David Duffy, has been found safe and well, garda have reported. Garda had issued an appeal for help in tracing 36-year-old Mr Duffy, who had not been seen since Sunday. Garda have thanked the public for their help and said that no further action is needed.

Police Appeal For Information On 40 Year Old Murder
An investigation into the death of a teenager in 1973 has been reopened. The body of 18-year-old Marian Beattie was discovered on Friday 30 March, 1973, at the bottom of Hadden's Quarry between Aughnacloy and Ballygawley. Ms Beattie was last seen leaving a dance in Aughnacloy on the Friday with an unidentified man just after 1am.
