Concert Tickets Fake Says U2
Irish rock band U2 are warning fans concert tickets currently advertised online are not real.
The band says they have no confirmed live shows scheduled so reports claiming they are performing soon are 'mistaken'.
A spokesperson for the band said in a statement: "Just a note to correct reports that tickets are becoming available for planned U2 shows. There are no tour dates for the band at the moment, so please don't buy tickets for U2 shows you see advertised."
A new album is expected later this year, which the band are currently working on, and many online agencies are advising fans to pre-register for a predicted world tour in 2009.
The group posted a message on their own website saying any announcement about live gigs would fist appear on their own site.
