Man Shot By Gang In Dublin
A 20-year-old man has been shot in the Ballyfermot area of west Dublin overnight.
According to Gardaí, a gang of men attacked the victim, who is from the Ballyfermot area, on the grounds behind the Cherry Orchard Hospital around 10.00pm.
The attackers shot the man in the lower body, before making their getaway in two cars.
One of the vehicles was burned out as gardaí arrived at the scene and five men, all in their 20s and from Dublin were arrested.
The victim was rushed to Saint James' Hospital for emergency surgery and remains in a serious condition.

Gardaí are appealing for help in tracing missing Dublin man Greg Ward. Mr Ward, 31, was last seen in Blanchardstown on Sunday 3 May. He is described as being 6'2" in height and has a vast amount of tattoos and piercings over his body. Gardaí are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.

Security Men Shot Outside Dublin Hospital
Two men have been injured after a gun attack at a Dublin hospital. The two security men are being treated for gunshot wounds after an incident outside St James's Hospital in Dublin earlier this morning. The incident happened at around 4.30am. One man sustained a gunshot wound to the arm.
