Dublin Cars Dealership Hit By Blaze

A well-known car dealership in west Dublin has been extensively damaged following an overnight fire.

The blaze broke out at the Tom Boland car dealership on Monastary Road in Clondalkin just before midnight.

Dublin Fire Brigade says a kerosene tank exploded and the fire then spread to the cars parked nearby.

In all, some 20 cars were damaged as nine units of the fire brigade attended to the scene.

However, no one was injured in the blaze and the premises were empty at the time.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
