Three Dead In Irish Road Tragedies
Three people have now been killed on Irish roads in the last 24-hours.
The latest fatality, a man in his early 40s, was killed after a van and his car collided near Crossgar in Co Down this morning, while two men were killed in Co Galway yesterday.
Gardai at Clifton are investigating the fatal road traffic collision in Co Galway on Monday.
The crash occurred at approximately midday at Lettergesh East, Tully Cross, Renvyle.
Two males, one in his late 40s and one in his 60s were fatally injured when the silver Ford Mondeo Car they were travelling in slid down an embankment and overturned.
Two female passengers were brought to University College Hospital Galway for treatment. There injuries are described as not life threatening.
This accident occurred on the beach road connecting the Lettergesch/Leenane Road to the beach and is approximately 3km from Tully Cross.
Gardai at Clifton are appealing to any witnesses that may have been in the area between 11am and 12.30pm and that may be in a position to assist, to contact them on: 095-22500 or the Garda Confidential telephone line: 1800 666 111.

Man Killed In Co Galway Road Collision
A man has been killed in a two-vehicle road crash in County Galway. The collision occurred at Cloonmore, Tuam, at 2.20am on Saturday. The 55-year-old man suffered fatal injuries when the car he was driving was struck by another vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 51-year-old man was been killed on Thursday evening in a road crash in Co Galway. A car hit the as-yet-unidentified pedestrian at Kylebrack East, Loughrea, at approximately 9pm. He was taken to Portiuncula Hospital, Ballinasloe, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
