The Return Of Hat Club!
On Friday August 29th, the UK’s premiere hat party Hat-Club heads back to Belfast, to deliver another night of filthy house music and hat-clad mayhem.
The event will be held at the Mynt club in the Cathedral Quarter of Belfast, where Hat-Club will go head-to-head with Northern Ireland’s top house night, Kinetik.
Music on the night will come from one of dance music’s most innovative players, Filthy Rich. Rich is the epitome of hot talent with a discography as long as his arm, support from industry heavy weights such as Tim Sheridan, his own label Control Freq, and a DJ diary with not a spare slot in sight for the six months. He’s a Hat-Club regular and a crowd favourite.
Hat-Club resident James Fitch is another much loved DJ, and will join Rich to bash out the house tunes. Under his Prok & Fitch alias, James was personally invited by Roger Sanchez to play at his Stealth party in Miami, and has remixed for the cream-of-the-crop including Seamus Haji, Kraak & Smaak, and Utah Saints. His house sets are deep and dirty, just how the Hat-Club crowd like it.
Completing the line-up is local lad Dale Hooks, whose distinctive style of house in the DJ booth and studio has gained him guest slots in clubs in both London and Ibiza.
On a more permanent basis Hat-Club can be found in London, Brighton and Southend, and exclusive tour nights - such as this – pop up every now and then across the country. So whether yours is a bowler, trilby, or something more extravagant, get yourself down to Mynt and find out what the fuss is all about.
