Woman Held At Knife Point During Armed Robbery
A woman has been held at knife point during an armed robbery on a petrol station in Limerick on Monday night.
The robbers are thought to have taken a female hostage from her car outside the service station and then led her into the service station shop with a knife to her neck.
Two others then reportedly joined the man and hostage in the shop.
One of the men was armed with what was believed to be a single barrel shotgun and the other was armed with what was believed to be a pump action shotgun.
Gardaí at Askeaton are investigating the armed robbery that took place at a service station on Main Street, Foynes, Co. Limerick, shortly before 11pm.
The tills were emptied and the raiders left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Two shots were fired during the course of the robbery but no one was injured.
The culprits are described as being 5' 7'' or 5' 8'' tall with slim build. All their faces were covered and they were wearing dark clothing.
They are believed to be non Irish Nationals.

Gunman Arrested In Dublin
Gardai in Dublin have arrested a man after an attempted armed robbery of a pub in Chapelizod, early this morning. Officers were called to The Villager pub at around 1am. The man, armed with a shotgun, was demanding cash from the barman when two gardai entered. The gunman turned his weapon on one of the officers, who disarmed him and made an arrest.

Three Men Arrested In Connection With Suspected Armed Robbery
Three men have been arrested in connection with a suspected armed robbery at a shop in Bawnogue Shopping Centre, Clondalkin. Two masked men threatened shop staff with a suspected firearm and fled the scene with a sum of cash. When the suspects left they were seen going in the direction of the Lealand estate.

Garda Hunt Man Following Attempted Armed Robbery
Gardaí are searching for a man in connection with the attempted armed robbery of an Ulster Bank in Blackpool, County Cork. According to reports, a man entered the branch and produced a knife. He threatened staff with the knife and demanded cash. It is understood that a bank teller gave the man a special cash bundle containing a dye pack.

An Post Worker's Family Held Hostage
Gardaí are continuing investigations into an attempted robbery in which a family was held hostage. The incident took place last night around 9.30pm, when a gang of four armed men entered a house in Co Kildare. The family of six were held overnight.

Armed Robbery On Dublin Petrol Station
A gang has escaped with a substantial amount of money following a robbery at a petrol station in north Dublin this morning. A cash-in-transit van was held up by three men as it was making a delivery to an ATM on the Ballymun Road, just before 7am.
