Woman Passenger Dead Following Serious Road Crash
A woman passenger has died after the car in which she was travelling collided with another in Co Mayo on Sunday.
Gardai in Mulrany are investigating the two car collision, which occurred at Rosgalive in Mayo at 9.30pm.
Two males, who were also involved in the crash along with the woman, were brought to Mayo General Hospital in Castlebar following the accident.
The 25-year-old female who was a passenger in one of the cars was pronounced dead shortly after 9.00pm on Monday night. Neither of the two males is believed to have suffered life threatening injuries.
Gardaí are asking anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who may have any more information on the incident to contact Mulrany Garda Station on 098-36102, or Westport Garda Station on 098-50230.

A woman who fell while climbing in the Mweelrea mountains in Co Mayo yesterday evening has died. Search teams in the Mweelrea Mountains in Co Mayo were called to the scene where the woman, who is in her 30s, fell on Ben Bury peak at around 6.30pm yesterday evening.

Gardai at Castlebar are investigating the circumstances of a shooting incident which occurred yesterday in County Mayo. Around 6.30pm a middle-aged woman was seriously injured when she was shot by a lone gunman at a shop on Main Street in Balla. She was taken by ambulance to Mayo General Hospital.
